The internal valve automatically closes when the base is opened and reopens when the base is replaced, allowing drainage to recommence.

• HepVo Waterless Trap: This trap is designed to stop gurgling sink noises and can function as an air admittance valve under negative pressure. It seals itself under positive pressure if there is a clog downstream or under conditions like a high-powered washing machine causing water to bubble up in the sink.
